A coat with a story. Originally part of the Deutsche Oper Berlin costume collection for Götterdämmerung, worn in the role of Alberich. Reimagined and upcycled into an avant-garde one-of-a-kind piece.
This design explores the tension between decay and dignity. Black cotton merges with asymmetrical camouflage scraps and coarse felt. The look deliberately evokes the roughness of a homeless man’s coat — raw, honest, and socially charged. Every detail speaks of survival, transformation, and art as rebellion.
